May need full model # to assist you. Isn't there a panel at the bottom of machine? Should be three screws at very bottom. Remove with 1/4" nutdriver. Remove panel pump should be on the right. Unscrew the cap (they can be pretty tight but they just unscrew) there will likely be quite a bit of water that follows removal of the cap so prepare for that. I usually put vaseline around the threads before reinstalling. There are also many videos available on YouTube to show you how to clean the pump basket.

It is Code SL which means Suds Lock. Either you have too much soap suds for it to drain properly or Your drain pump is clogged and not spinning properly. Try running it through a rinse and spin cycle and if you still get a code (SL or Ld) then you will probably need to replace your drain pump.

The error is SL.

"F21" (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:


1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
