Gidday,i am trying to find out the year of my 50 h power mercury blue band . The serial number I have is 8016593 and I am looking for both the inner and outer wiring harnesses

50 hp is a 4 cylinder powerhead.. blue band denotes 80s model engines.. my dads was a red band 69 model.. the red band stopped in the late 70s like 79 .. the wire harnesses are almost identical from 40 hp on up to about 80 or higher, just a heavier set of starting cables.. may need to check into used equipment.. might find something easier there.. check mwith a mercury dealer near you also..
