The OE error or fault code indicates that the washing machine is not draining properly. Check to be sure the drain hose isn't clogged or kinked. If that checks out, check to see if the drain pump or drain pump filter are clogged. Sometimes objects that are put into the washing machine, for example combs, money, hair pins, etc. end up in the filter. Finally, if the drain line is clear and the pump seems to be clear and functioning properly, you may need to replace the drain pump assembly.

SOURCE: LG front washer WM1814CW error OE

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

SOURCE: For LG WM2233HW, Error Code OE. Already check

Replace the water pump. Because the water can not pump out, the machine idles for a while then stops with the error code OE. The technician said, the drain hose should be hang high before curse down to the drainage so air can not go to the hose.

SOURCE: My LG Tromm WM1814CW is not draining. I cleaned

Check inside the filter housing with a flashlite for debris that got around the filter. If it is clean, you have a bad pump and it needs to be replaced.

Error message oe. and will not spin.

Actually, that is not oe, it is DE, which stands for Drain Error. Check the filter behind the access door on the lower left front of the washer. You should be able to drain the water out using the small hose there first before opening the filter. If there is nothing in the filter, you will have to replace the drain pump motor.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

OE is a drain error and is displayed when the washer is unable to drain water. Please check the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs to clean the error. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Washing machine flashing oe

OE = Drain Error • Not fully drained within 10 minutes.
Check and clean the pump filter. The access panel is located on the front, bottom left of the machine. Place a towel under the front of the pump filter access panel opening before opening to catch any water that may flow out.
Check drain hose on the back of the machine for any kinks or blockage.

Washer won't drain

You either have a foreign debris trapped inside the drain pump or the drain pump is broken.  You will need a qualified LG technician to repair this problem.
