My Babyliss hair curler would light up when I press the power button but then it would shut off again. Am I doing something wrong?

is it throwing a reset switch on its plug head? if so press the reset button on the plug head if it trips again there's an issue inside the hair dryer thats making it shut off power to it from the plug head

I have fine hair and could never get it to hold a curl, let alone a wave. But I am finally able now that I bought the Hot Tools Ceramic professional curling iron. I am really happy with it!
