SOURCE: Leapster 2 unit turns on, warning msg re. seizures and flashing lights stays for a few seconds then shuts off. Has new batteries.

Our leapster 2 would not work past the 'Important message' screen. My husband made sure that the DS card was removed first, then instead of turning the unit over and putting the battery pack in then doing the screw up, he actually did it in reverse. He put the leapster unit onto the battery pack. It seems that the batteries slightly move when you turn the unit upside down.
