Model number KN-COEG-3. Error is Gas, but the other two have nothing but 0.

I took the following from the Kidde website. They only answer the phone Mon-Fri, from 8-5, EST. I checked it out because my almost new Kidde CO detector is showing an Error code.
The next time your carbon monoxide alarm has ERR on the display, push and hold the Peak Level button. You will see an E and an O followed by a number.Contact our hotline at 1-800-880-6788 and provide us the error code, along with the model number, assembly number and date of manufacture from the back of your unit.If your unit is under warranty, a replacement will be mailed to you.
SOURCE: The detector goes off whenever we wash the floor
Your gas detector utilizes a sensor that is sensitive to certain types of cleaning products especially ones that contain ammonia. Products that are dispersed by aerosol spray can also cause false alarms. Be very careful when using these types of products in close proximity as it is possible to poison the sensor. If this occurs it will permanently damage the detector and you will have no other recourse but to replace the detector.

The unit may be trying to tell you there is a dangerous situation in your house. Try calling the fire department non-emergency number and describe the problem. They will most likely send a unit to check out your premises. If you can't find a non-emergency number, dial 911 and ask to be connected to the closest station to you to discuss a possible carbon monoxide or gas leak situation. DO NOT SLEEP in the house until you have this checked out. *Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, despite the handle.
