WHEN I PUT A SD CARD IN MY CAMERA I READS SD ERROR. WHAT DO I DO

The problem you have is that the copper pins that have to contact the contacts of the sd card are bend flat you will have to disasemble the whole camera to fix this not an easy task
But doable

You have to check out that if your camera support your SD card(type, capacity size ) or if there is real something wrong with the card. Using a card reader insert to PC and see if the card can be read, if it's OK, formatting it by PC then insert it back to camera and see if the problem can be solved. Else, If the card can't be read by PC you only have to change it.

I BELIEVE THE REASON IS THE TYPE OF SD CARD.
THERE ARE SD AND SDHC. IF YOU ARE USING SDHC.
I BET THE ONE CARD THAT DOESNT READ IS AN HC. THIS IS ALSO TRUE WITH OLDER CARD READERS. I HAVE AN OLDER AND NEWER CARD READER.
I JUST HAPPENED TO PUT AN OLDER SD CARD IN MY NEW POWERSHOT SD1300 AND IT READS FINE, ALL NEW CARDS SDHC WONT READ.
I BELIEVE SD IS UP TO 2GIGS AND SDHC IS 4GIGS AND HIGHER.

There can be a problem with the SD card itself. A bad sd isn't common but they do happen. What I would check is that the sd card is compatible with the camera. It can be too big or the wrong type or the wrong speed. As a result the camera can't read the card and just sits there. Your camera manual should show a list of tested sd cards. If not your best bet is to go to a store and bring your camera and ask to try before you buy.

If you can read the sd card in something else then it is most likely compatibility problem. If it can't be read about all you can do is try to format the card and see if that brings it back to life.
