I need to delete a previous email acct and use my new one

Although I don't have a 'Tracfone' account (Google) the method may be similar, when I changed mine previously:

1. Register a new, fresh account with new domain.
2. Port data from old to new (may need authorization from SP)
3. Close old account.

Hi , if your using I device and obviously you've set up an e mail / gmail adress with your password , here's the easiest solution .
Go to your settings menu
scroll down to mail ,contacts , calendar . ( tap on )
you should see your email address (tap on )
you should see your gmail acct. and at the bottom delete acct. (Tap on delete ) not to worry your acct is a fixed or an assigned acct only to you and will always remain .
Now you will be asked to add an account
Choose your provider ,Google , yahoo , hotmail ,etc
Follow the instructions and TYPE YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME, ORIGINAL USED PASSWORD (APPLE ) , AND IF YOU WANT A DESCRIPTION FOR THIS ADDRESS ,ie : default adress , recovery adress , email 1 , email 2 . Etc etc .......then
you will see in upper right hand corner continue or done . Should be Done . Tap done.
You do not need to open SMTP or you do not need to add server . It is located through automatically.
Your done ! Should open email app icon and send or receive mail . If you get an error pop up then you've most likely entered wrong password . Use your apple password . Not your Google or other provider password

YOU NEED TO GO TO GOOGLE AND DELETE IT,BUT,BECAUSE YOU HAVE POSTED IT ON THE INTERNET,ANYONE HAS YOUR EMAIL,EMAIL CAN BE USED FOR MANY THINGS!! STOP GOING TO WEBSITES AND GIVING OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFO!! I WOULD DELETE IT BUT I WANT YOU TO SEE MY REPLY

For your old email, you need to sign out from here and login with you old email account
1) From your email, click on the blue circle on the right hand top
corner and then click on sign out.
2) Now you should go to the sign in page again
3) Click on "Sign in with a different account"
4) Now put in your old usename and password

Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

To delete your Google account sign in here:

Scroll down to 'Account management' and there will be two options:
Delete profile and remove related Google+ features.
Close account and delete all services and information associated with it.

I believe the second option will include Gmail.

This should walk you through how to delete your google account.

In order to reset and change the password of Gmail and corresponding Google Account with the affected Gmail email address, follow these steps:

1. Go to https://mail.google.com/ (related: other Gmail URLs).
2. Click on I cannot access my account link.

3. Click on radio button of I forgot my password, and then click on password recovery page link (or you can go directly to the link above).
4. Enter the username for the Gmail or Google Account in the field provided.
5. Enter the captcha letters as shown in the image on screen.
6. If you never login to the Gmail for the previous 24 hours, a secret question as set in the Google Account will be presented. Answer the question with a correct answer in order to be able to reset the password.

If you're unable to answer your security question and the account has a secondary email address configured, a link will appear at the bottom of the secret question results page. Clicking on the link will has a password reset email message sent to the secondary email mailbox. After receiving the email, follow the link to reset the password.

If you have login to Gmail in the preceding 24 hours period, the password reset email will be sent immediately instead. Follow the link to reset the password. If you don't have a secondary email address, or if you no longer have access to that account, repeat the steps above after 5 days. At that point, you'll be able to reset your password by answering the security question you provided when you created your account.
7. If you cannot remember the answer to secret question, cannot answer the secret question correctly and do not receive password reset email in secondary email account, try to contact Google for help.

This have nothing to do with your computer, try making another email address, the emails are kept in the providers servers, so there must be a conflict with your username and the server. I suggest the same nick but with another provider; if were using msn, the try yahoo, or gmail, or aol, a different one. Good luck.

My first guess would be to delete all email accts. in hotmail and un install msn messenger, and create new ones.
