Wht do i have to put or type in on my (connections) to get all this started. no wifi or getting n recieving picture messages.

There is no WiFi on the Q9m. As far as your MMS settings. Who is your service provider? If it is Verizon they should already be on your phone. If you have another service provider, you may have to have them send the settings over the air via a network update.
##DATA# might get you into the menu to update but I can't be sure since I don't know what software is currently on the phone.
