SOURCE: i have a problem with my samsung tv
It probably is the Keyboard on the side. I've had this quite a few times. Simply pull off the back and unplug the side keyboard. It should be the last board in a chain of wires coming from the main to the IR sensor then finally keyboard. Unplug the keyboard and then plug TV back in and see if it stops, if so that was your problem, if not it will likely be your main board then. The TV usually can operate without the key board you will just have to use the remote for everything, but the keyboard is generally pretty cheap like $15.

there may be no 5v to the microprocessor, also check for dry joints. this could eliminate this problem
I will assume you tried to unplug the set and plug it back in.
If you are using a sat or cable box connected to the cable fitting on the set try connection from the AV jacks to one of the video inputs on the set.
If set does it via the rear jacks it is likely the box and not the set.
Most likely a problem with the products manual control panel on the tv. one or more of the buttons are either stuck or corrupted. Find this part and you can fix the set.
