Use a card reader and insert your memory card. Look for it under "My Computer" and it will be listed as a removable drive. Open it and you will see you photo files. Create a folder to hold the pictures on your PC. Select the jpg files on the card (removable drive), copy them, then paste them in the folder. If you have no photo editor on your PC, download the free "Fotor" at http://download.cnet.com/Fotor/3000-2192_4-75901678.html .

SOURCE: Can't get videos off the camera

Hello,

here is a easier way to view/transfer your videos/pictures.....

if your running Windows Xp or Vista great.

select your menu button on the back of the camera , then Shooting menu, then Set up, scroll down to Interface, then USB, select mass storage. press menu to exit.

turn your camera on after you connect the USB cable to your computer and camera.

a new hardware wizard should be active, Xp & vista provides the drivers and a one time deal. your camera turns into a removable hard drive or like a jump drive.

you can drag & drop the video files easily into a folder .....

make sure you have the latest Quick Time Player to view the videos.

and here is the manual on the Coolpix L10

you can download the free adobe acrobat reader for free also.

SOURCE: My Dad gave me his

Easiest thing to do is to pull out the memory card and stick it into the computer direct if you've got the slot.

If not try to dig up the cd that came with the camera and run the setup from there.

Or you could download it direct from Nikon's site.

It's not complicated but Nikon didn't do that great of a job with their support site I must admit.

SOURCE: I have lost the original software CD of Nikon Coolpix L18 camera. How can I get a download?

Most often the manufacturer will have a support and downloads area on their website.  You may find what you need here: http://www.nikonusa.com/Service-And-Support/Download-Center.page

SOURCE: Out of memory on Nikon Coolpix L18 camera

I noticed that, after dumping the full SD card onto my computer, I didn't seat it perfectly back in the camera (my finger bottomed out on the batteries before the memory card 'clicked' into place. With the camera unable to see the SD card, it defaulted to the internal memory, which is very small.

I got the SD card seated fully and the "Out of Memory" message went away.

Can't download pictures on Windows XP

First do a windows update, see if you have all the current versions of software on your computer. Then install the nikon software on your computer. If that fails, I recommend using a card reader to download your photos to your computer. Card readers are quicker and don't use any battery power to download either.

Nikon Coolpix 3200

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Nikon Transfer or Windows Photo Gallery.
