Colour out of alignment on aficio c811dn ricoh.when i print a demo page,the colours are out of alignment.

With out seeing copy here is my thought either bad drum if it is streaks down copy or laser unit for yellow is out of alignment . In user tools there is a maintance tab go into it and do color alignment if it fails then could be transfer unit or laser unit for yellow will need to have a copier tech come out to fix it.

SC367 is a toner density error having to do with yellow. If you've tried turning the machine off (with the power switch on the lower left side) and turning it back on and that doesn't help, your next move should be to replace the yellow photoconductor unit (PCU).

The PCU is the drum unit. There is one for each colour (C,M,Y & K). Each PCU has a 'life' and the machine will ask you to replace it when it has reached the end of its expected life. The PCU life has nothing to do with the amount of toner that you have in the cartridges and they need to be changed independantly.

Transfer belt cleaning unit. The transfer unit is above the drums and the cleaner is on the left side. Remove it and I would bet you see a similar band as what your seeing on your prints. You can try wiping of the cleaning blade in the unit or you may have to replace it.

It refers to a laser beam feedback error on cyan color. It is definitely something to call a dealership to correct. Good luck.

Enter the menu of the printer pressing once the relevant button and with the up or down buttons find the list test print. Then press once # or OK (whatever the machine has) and you see Configuration page. By pressing once again the # or OK it prints the Config.Page, which somewhere on the top of thw sheet shows the pages printed (first the black and then the colour. Good luck!

It's the fuser. You can try turning it off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on again.

If the problem continues, call a technician in to get the thermistor replaced.

It's a common error.
