Sounds as though you have the same problem that I had, which caused me to switch to Apple, and I've never had a problem since.
Androids seem to slow down considerably with use. I think it's due to more dross and trash being stored on it, which we cannot see, plus a reduction in battery efficiency.
I got round it by doing a reset and re-installing the OS. It's a pain in the ****, but afterwards, it ran like it always used to, for about a month or so, then started to slow again. After six months of this, I bought an iPhone Best thing I ever did. Got rid of Windows pc, Android tablet and I'm all Apple now and they all talk to each other. Hope this helps.
