Your TV is supposed to have a DVI connector. But I only found that information on 1 website.
Your computer needs to have a DVI (white) connector in the back, just connect it to the same connector on the TV. You'll need a DVI cable too.
Then you will have to go into the menu and set your TV for PC input.
If you really want, you can use an old CRT TV as a monitor provided you get it connected.... so your plasma... YES. If your PC has a DVI port, you could use a DVI - HDMI cable to connect. If your PC does NOT have a DVI port, you could install a video card that does... better yet, get a video card that has a HDMI port. This way, you'll only need a HDMI cable to connect the PC to the TV for audio and video.
Hi Jatinder Kumar ,
Yes you can connect your computer output to lcd tv through dvi-hdmi cable or vga-hdmi cable.
1. Connect to HDMI (DVI) : just plug in HDMI (DVI) out of PC or laptop to HDMI or DVI TV. Than select source from HDMI.
2. Connect to PC : Plug D sub to TV, select PC in.
Hello jaygee7414, Sanyo DP50747 not support for D sub conection (PC in). To connect PC in, you can use DVI or HDMI input. Some Laptops already have HDMI or DVI out put. Like HP mini, sony vaio.
An older television might have DVI instead of HDMI. the difference is that HDMI also carries sound while DVI does only video. You may need a converter box or another converter cable.
