Anonymous - If you haven't already, Go to Start menu and type Computer and select. This window should show your optical disk drive. Right click on it and select Eject from the menu. Hope this helps.

there is a problem with the hardware preventing the system from completing POST. You should take it to someone who can do a proper in person diagnosis but I suspect you may have a fault in the hard drive due to a drop or impact while thet system was running.

On a desktop computer there is a pinhole where you can put a pin in to push a switch and force the door open. The laptop should have the same.

try reboot holding f11 and run windows repair, or recovery utility

this is the complaint about your memory so first you must clean your memory and insert it back again.if you still have the same issue ?? you must re install your windows..if still have the same issue ?? we must check it is your hard disk problem..

Just about a month back I purchased a Lenovo laptop having Intel Core i3 processor loaded with DOS.

I then installed Windows XP SP3 32-bit and there is absolutely no problem whatsoever with the compatibilty. Also, all the device drivers for Windows XP are available on Lenovo support website.

So, there should be no problem to install and run Windows XP on this laptop.
