I have a 2002 saturn s series car wont start because of anti theft system help

there are several TSB's pertaining to the anti-theft system. the best option is to see what part of the anti-theft system is not working. There should be codes in the theft module. you will need a high end scan tool to get these. anything less than $1,500 will not get these codes. You will likely have to get a GM dealer or a good independent shop to help you with this. Once the problem is resolved the anti theft can be relearned if necessary and you should be fine until the next thing goes wrong...

put car in drive or neautral gear to start

check your fuel filter might be pluged and not allowing fuel to get through if not that check your ignition coil for spark using a screw driver pull off the coil wire and place the screw driver inside place on top of engine and have some one turn it over for you if it sparks then its something else like your igniton coil regulator or coil pack

it does sound like your battery is the problem but have a local shop test it and the charging system and the anti theft system connections maybe the alarm is draining the battery with a poor connection..

Alot of the time the anti theft security can actually disable your starter. Check to see if there is a light on the dash that says SECURITY or a little picture of a car with a lock thru it. Your owners manual will tell you that the anti-theft can be turned off, but doesn't tell you how (dealer only?). If it is turning over but wont start, (trying to hit and outside temp is below 32) check the coolant temp sensor. Saturns notorious for cracked sensor sending false info to computer thus flooding engine.
