NF stands for No Flow. Check to see that your valves are open and that water is getting to your washer. If you have water to the washer, you my have a problem with the selenoid valves that control the water flow.

According to Samsung:

Your Washer has tried to fill but
was unsuccessful.

Make sure the water faucets are open all the
way. Check for kinked hoses.
Check the inlet screens on the fill hoses.

Of course, other things can cause the same code. Timer not supplying power to the water solenoids, solenoid water valve is defective, etc.
I would try hot fill, cold fill, warm fill. The above are the obvious.

SOURCE: what does nf mean?

NF = Not Full
Is displayed when machine does not fill with water in the allowed time. Could be low water pressure at the feed pipe. Could be dirt clogging the inlet hose screen. Could be that the faucet valve is not fully opened.

I believe that means "non functioning", but I am not positive. You will need to call a repairman. Check your Samsung washing machine booklet first.

What does nf mean

NF stands for no fill, which means you are not getting any water into the machine. This is either because the water valve has failed or is clogged, the water is turned off or the pressure switch thinks there is already water in the machine but the last is very unlikely.
