I would guess your power supply board is slowly disintegrating. It is hard to tell what it is, until it finishes frying itself out. Plan on replacing the power board soon, 1-3 months maybe.

A 4 flash indicates you have a backlight problem. Either the backlight inverter boards have failed or you have a backlight that has failed in the LCD panel. You will need a technician to check the set to determine which is the problem.

If TV does not remain in standby and turns on itself then power switch on top of it could be defective and power supply board is also suspected. Take off its back cover and unplug top switch connector just to confirm is that cause of On-Off its own. If problem still exist then power supply board has problem and will be replaced. Most likely this is caused by a defective main board. Changing the main board will fix the issue about 95% of the time.

To be absolutely sure, the voltages need to be checked on the power supply. If they are not the values listed in the service manual, then you should replace the power supply instead (accounts for the other 5% of the time).
