There are certain situations you need to put your iPhone in recovery mode. Perhaps it freezes, it keeps restarting continuously, it is not being recognized by iTunes or you were attempting to jailbreak it (or you already did) and need to restore it to its original state. Whatever is the reason, putting iPhone in recovery mode will allow you to restore your device while at the same time getting rid of these issues.
However, do you know that you'll lose all the data on your iPhone when you perform a recovery mode restoration? Please make sure to backup your iPhone before restoring iPhone. If you've taken a back up of your device using iTunes or iCloud, Fonedog iPhone Data Recovery can help you to restore iPhone from backup.Follow the steps below on how to put iPhone in recovery mode.
Step1:Download and Launch FoneDog Toolkit- iOS System Recovery
Step2.Download Firmware Package for Fixing iPhone Recovery Mode
Step3.Repair the iPhone Recovery Mode

Hope it can help you!

SOURCE: iPhone

Hello Bruce,

Try this first:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake (on top of the iphone) button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. The phone will turn off. Then, push and hold it again, until the phone comes back on.

If that doesn't work, try this:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. This will do a "hard reset" and should bring your iphone back to life!

Please let us know how this works for you.

Best regards,
Bill

SOURCE: logo itune and no servise

Hi there,

If the iPhone is brand new, it has to be activated using the iTunes software on the pc, plug the iPhone in and follow the guide.

as for the iPhone saying no service and insert SIM, the iPhone will only work with O2 (UK) and Verizon (USA) unless the phone is unlocked to be allowed for use by all carriers.

if you find out that the phone isnt unlocked you will need a SIM Card for either O2 or Verizon Depending on which country you're from !

SOURCE: iphone only see apple logo and itunes logo in a dark screen after

If it got wet, you can bring it to any Apple Store. Nine times out of ten they will replace it for $150 to $200 dollars. Unless they determine it is a manufacturers defect and you are still under warranty, then you want have to pay anything. they will usually just replace it for you.
Otherwise, you may have to pay up to $200 for a replacement.
Hope this helps...Let me know...

Hello,
Try to restart the iPhone: Press and hold both power button and home button together until iPhone turns off and starts again (Apple logo appear on white screen). Release both buttons when you see the Apple logo. Let the phone boot up. It should be ok. If not,

You can update/restore your iPhone using iTunes installed on a Mac or Windows computer.

Steps to follow:
1. Please turn off the phone.
2. Press and hold the home button and connect the USB charging cable to your phone and to Mac/PC running iTunes.
3. When iTunes connect logo appear on iPhone screen, release the home button.
4. iTunes will detect your phone and prompt you to update/restore your phone.
5. Click on update.
6. Let iTunes download and install iOS update on your phone. It will prompt you once finished.

If the update is failed, iTunes will prompt you to restore (this process will erase all data from your iPhone), select restore and wait to finish.

After restore process is done, you may restore your iPhone backup (if you have backed up your iPhone before).
