I cant hear any sound from my Tv Sansui SV2916. I

Instructions:

1 Turn on the TV and change it to a blocked station or show. The TV will prompt you for the parental control password.
2 Set the volume on the TV to "0." No sound should be coming from the TV speakers.

open the tv and then put it on then look carefully where the spack is, if it is from the line transformer then replace it with thesame number if u can but if u can not take it to a qualifield techni bcuse the voltage is very high

OK first check you converter box, Cable TV/ Satellite TV volume control and turn it up to 100%.

Then check the menu on your TV for audio settings and set them to there default settings. This should take care of this issue.

If you are using a set-top box for Digital reception....check the output volume setting by going to the menu then audio set up section. On standard TV transmisssions the sound is often fine but on Digital....the box sets the feeder audio signal level.

i dont know if this helps at all, but you should try to use a earpiece.

your program is probably set to use the wrong input for the mic, check your settings.

Try reprogramming the codes into the TV for the volume control.

Jensen JR500 manual - If you cant get it to work using one of these codes it does not support your unit.

if theres a headphone jack plug in a set og headsets. if the sound is there then you know that your speaker is bad. if its not make sure the volume indicator goes up and listen closely to the speaker. Do you here static noises?? NO? ok then its a problem with the audio output IC built in to the set and this is probably something you cant repalce unless your experenced with soldering printed curcuit boards. If you here staic or a small his then the volume contrpl curcuit or the audio if is defective and this as well is not something you can diagnoise unless you know how to troubleshoot electronics.
