How can you release cd's stuck in cd changer system?

It depends on the type of loading mechanism is used, for example! if unit is a 5 disc changer, remove top and advance platter to remove disc's. If the CD player is a slot loader remove top and see if disc's can be teased to come out a more difficult removal, finally if this is a mega loader get someone who knows what they are doing and remove them safely.

My in-car cdc will not eject the cartridge?.

Press the eject button several times non stop.Like 10 to 15 times non stop and see,if the cartridge is getting ejected out.If its still stuck, then disconnect the car battery negative terminal for 15 minutes then reconnect the negative terminal and heck.If still the cartridge is stuck, then its problem with internal mechanism. You will have to disassemble the unit and manually eject the cartridge out and lubricate internal mechanism.-------------- Unplug the changer and use a flat metal ruler. And slide it alongside the cartridge. try sliding on both sides. You'll eventually trigger the manual switch and it'll pop out.Bif that is also not helping then:--- solution is to disassemble the CD changer and lubricating the mechanisms inside. This is the most common problem with CD changers. Take the unit out of car and try to release disc manually.Take the screws out on both sides of player then remove case . You will be able to manually push the big gear so that the disc goes back into the cartridge. And then it slides out. After that you lube all moving parts with a teflon grease and some parts with silicon spray. This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

We have a Pioneer CDX FM 653 6 disk CD changer and it won't release, play a cd or eject the box holding the CDs is there a manual release somewhere?

yes , remove the top cover , this will expose the entire mechanism , you may have to feel around a bit ,but theres definitly a metal lever or tab of some sort to eject the mag manually , probably on the rear of te open unit
