I have just purchased a Goclever Quantum 785 tablet, and the letter 'b' doesn't work when the screen is in landscape mode (I've tried both ways up). it types the 'v' & 'n' either side of the 'b' instead. however, it does work in portrait mode fine. I have updated it all to the most recent updates too. please help. thank you.
You could try re-calibration, or reset the device, or restore device factory settings as per the below 3 options. There is also a link at the bottom to a user guide. If that doesn't work, you probably have a faulty touch screen, in that case return the device to the place of purchase for warranty repair/replacement:
Q: G-SENSOR is not responding.
A: You should calibrate your device using 'Settings' / 'Display' or Gravity Calibration App (optional).
Q: My GOCLEVER tablet does not react well, it is freezing, works much slower than normal or does not respond at all.
A: We recommend to restart your device using turn on/off button (pressing 3-4 sec) or reset button (with a pointed object).
Q: How do I restore factory settings?
A: You should use 'Factory reset' function available in the 'Settings' App. The factory reset will help if your application causes the inappropriate operation of your device. Note, that all your files will be lost, so we suggest to copy them to another device (pendrive, PC etc).

SOURCE: Disable TC4400 auto rotate
First in Control Panel -> Tablet and Pen Settings, select Display Tab, then click on Change button next to Sequence. I set 1 as Landscape - Primary, then 2-4 as None.
Second, Go to Control Panel -> HP Quick Launch Buttons -> select Preferences tab -> uncheck the checkbox that says, "Enable Automatic Mode Change"
This worked for me!

First, make sure that your screen is clean and clear of smudges/fingerprints, etc. Then try again. If still no go; possible static damage to capacitive overlay(time for phone repairman).
