You might try posting your question on the Comcast help and support forum. Be very specific about what the model number is for your Comcast remote and TV remote. To be specific the remote "Talks" to the TV not the other way around. I personally find it easier to use both remotes because at best the Comcast remote cannot duplicate all the features of your TV remote.

here is the link to the forum. You will need to join and create a password etc. You will find a lot of help at the forum about every Comcast product TV, high speed internet, E-mail, security and so on.

If you have the led light on, then you need to replace the mainboard.

If no led light then replace the powerboard.

SOURCE: My Bravia KDL-40S4100 lost all 3 of it's HDMI

There is a problem with the processor. The only way to resolve this issue is to replace the main board. It is called the A board in your TV.

There are two for this model and the correct one will depend on what your serial number is.

Part numbers are as follows:
part # 185709211 for Serial #
1,000,001 - 1,350,000
1,700,001 - 1,750,000
1,800,001 - 1,804,270
1,804,271 - 1,818,372
1,818,373 - 1,830,000
list price: $504.87 core charge: $680.00

part # 185709231 for all other serial numbers
list price: $505.87 core charge: $600.00

Testimonial: "Thanks, Now I wonder who all shares the same problem and if Sony is willing to do something about their defective products..."

My Sony Bravia is stuck on channel 2 and won't respond with the remote or the top of the set channel changer.

I have the same problem. I have the Sony Bravia KDL-40S4100. I can't get it off channel 2. It won't work with the remote, and it won't work on buttons on the top of the console either. The power button on the remote is still able to turn the TV on and off, but aside from that, everything else is frozen.

I have a Sony Bravia, KLD-40S4100, Serial # 1041915. When I am watching my TV (I have digital cable, if that means anything), the picture does not always fit the screen, (i.e., sometimes the channel logo...

Different channels have different aspect ratios on digital cable. Go in your book that came with set and find changing aspect ratio...or call 4.3 16.9....or zoom.....full....streach...etc. Also look on your remote control. There may be a button to change that also. Simple problem. The hardest thing with these new sets is learning how to operate them properly. Read your book. Put it in the bathroom. You'll have alot of time to learn about your set if you do that..I'm serious. This new stuff has so many things it can do, it's crazy!! And you thought setting the time on the vcr was hard!!!! Good luck and let me know if you need more help.
