How come my RW-240 Plotbase (Software for the plotter) will not show any files that have been sent to print?

I've never experienced this problem before, the file usually shows up immediately. It is not recognizing that any file was sent to print. I make sure I send the desired print to the plotter, however it never shows up. I have tried restarting the computer to no avail.

This plotbase is old enough. Try to reinstall everything. Maybe there is a problem with your PC OS. Try to install plotbase on other PC.

Processes but won't print

Sometimes a plotter will show that is receiving data from the computer but will not print. I assume this is what you are describing. This can be caused by a couple of things. The first suspect is a corrupt file. Try a smaller file to see if it will print. If it does, the problematic files are probably from Photoshop or a CAD program. If a file has more than one level when it is sent to the plotter, the plotter has a hard time digesting it. Try "flattening" the file (makes a single level) and then send it to the plotter.

Another possibility is that the printer driver is no longer matched to the computer operating system or is simply corrupt. Go to HP.com and get the latest driver for the plotter. Windows XP Pro 64 drivers work well with W7 and 8.

Lastly, the Jetdirect card could be faulty. Reseat or replace the card.

Are there Window 7 drivers for the Gesetner A045 wide format plotter available. If not will there be?

Go to this web site http://www.ricoh-support.com/ and see if there is what you want.
The equivalent model is Aficio 240W.
Go to the quick search and in the left tab scroll to the wide format an in the right tab select the model (240W).

By mistakely my scantool or rw 240 has un installed, How i can re install it

scantools is installed with plotbase.
are u able to print?
if not , u need to install the full software .
(hope u have the serial no.-- on the interface card in the pc)

In scanplot base software in A045 machine gives error when you run error is below You donot have memory access. Notice you have the instructions in user manual(RW-240 scanplot setting)? but i have checked...

This requirement and solution are in the Plotbase manual, not the copier manual. See pp. 29-30 Setting for RW-240 ScanTool.
1. Start - Control Panel - Administrative Tools
2. Local Security Policy
3. Local Admin Policies
4. User Right Assignments
5. Lock Pages in Memory - Local Security Setting
4. Add User or Group, then Advanced
5. Add or Find Now - select users (all)
6. OK
7. close Local Security Setting windows
