Water will not drain during the spin cycle. aasdf..........asdfasdfasdfasd
Can only be a blocked hose or defective pump if drum is rotating. Remove the front panel by inserting a flat blade 4 inch from each isde at the front seam, lift the top and remove the 2 screws and remove the front panel. Remove hoses from pump, catch the water from the drum. If you need to remove the pumo, tilt the machine back and prop. Remove belt on underside and remove 3 screws securing pump.
check for blockages and pump vane condition.refit in reverse order.
In a spin cycle the pump must work hard so i think something is inside the drum perhaps a plastic bag or some plastic perhaps thats melted to the heating element you need to fully drain and empty the machine lay it down on its side and remove the drain pipe from the underside most modern machines have a bulb in the rubber pipe that has sometimes a cage that contains a plastic ball this is used to regulate the water below it is a filter at the pump so you must unloosen the pipe and check all parts for rubish and crud and remove it and also check inside the drum end for any bra wires or plastic bags lego monopoly hotels nintendo pens basicaly anything a child can post to the powder drawer that then ends up between the drum and the machine you can also take the top off and shine a bright light then you can see anything thats been impailed on say a plastic inner drum and the metal wash drum if you see what i mean i think that you have some blockage somewhere that shows up more in spin mode as i said this is the worst mode for water so you should expect even a minor blockage to show up here

is this machine induction motor or carbon brush if it is the inductin you need to be looking at the capacitor and if it is carbon brush then change them you will find them mounted each side of the motor and the capacitor will be @ the top under the lid near the pressure switch good luck

may be a loose belt or a partial blockage somwhere.

you can take an ohmmeter and remove one lead from the switch set your meter to continuity and see if it reads open then depress the switch and see if its closed or take both wires off the switch and put a jumper wire in the connectors to bypass the switch and see if it spins and yes its normal to keep agitating with the lid open the switch just works on spin
SOURCE: Admiral Washer not spinning
broken or slipping drive belt, ( motor) to spin pulley , losse pulley, defitive drive clutch, spin brake fails to release, or transmission is frozzen
SOURCE: washer stops at the spin cycle and won't drain
check your lidswitch. do you hear it clicking when you raise and lower the lid.
