Yes, this is caused by a capacitor problem, take the tv apart and on the main PSU board the faulty capacitors will be evident by their bulged appearance. Andrew Eve
Hi, two things.. Either your remote needs new batteries, or you need to switch off your tele and allow it to reboot for a few minutes before switching it back on, I hope this helps

It appears that your TV set is 2 channel stereo, so as there is no surround signal coded into the TV audio channels, thesurround sound does not process it.
