Delete the Facebook app from your iPad (press on its icon until it quivers, tap the X to delete it, tap the home button). Then, open the App Store application and tap Purchased. Three possible solutions, from mild to drastic--hope one of them can help.
1) In my experience, the battery can drop below a threshold voltage quite suddenly and cause the boot-up to freeze, or not start at all. Turn it over on your lap or on something soft like couch or carpet. Karate it chop it on the apple logo. Start softly and keep using more force. Folks have even used a hammer to do this but I don't advise it. You can also drop it face down on carpeted floor. Your ipad is likely stunned and needs to be stunned again to return to normal.

Does this only happen with a single web site, or is it any web site with drop-down menus? Have you tried a different browser, such as Chrome or Dolphin? What version of Android is on your tablet?

In the top right hand corner there is a drop down arrow, click this and 'log out' is the fourth option down

Yes it is VERY likely the harddrive that is damaged given the symptoms that you are reporting, most especially if the drive was in use when the drop occurred or if it was onto a hard surface. I recommend just purchasing a new 2.5" 320gb sata drive off of ebay (asking to make sure it is compatible with your system) as they only cost $65, and self disassembling.
