The tv was giving as a gift in 2012. So I believe that I put the right model in. I was watching the tv and went to change the channel, when I noticed that the box with the channel number looked differ

There are no error codes that pop up. When the channel box pops up, the channel is normally in a noticeable color but instead it pops up as a light grey. once in a while it will look normal but then switch back to the light grey. Also, with the channel box it sometimes stays stuck to the top of the screen. Volume, menu, channel up &/or down will not work. Normally we have a DVD connected to the tv as well as a WII and everyone once in a while HDMI to a laptop. I have even tried taking out the batteries from the remote and tried only using the tv controls. Still only the power button works. And not the one channel isn't even working. It's just a black screen.

Your symptoms point to the main board [the board with all the input connections], no simple fix, you must replace the board. Less likely the keypad is bad, just unplug the keypad and see if channel display stops popping up.

Change the main board if you have good picture and sound. If you don't have picture and sound, the inverter will also need to be change.

My LCD TV has a vertical line on the right side of the screen. What causes that?

I hate to give you bad news but I believe this will be a panel issue and it's not going to be fixable. You can try a different tcon board but I don't think it will help

Brand new TV with Light leakage on the screen

I happen to have the same tv brand, size, and problem. The only difference is model. I bought mine black friday 2012 and its got screen problems. Im looking for a solution also to why it has the problem it has. It was working great for the time being until i noticed cloudy white spots around the perimeter edges. I found out its do to a few possibilities. One is the one thats wrong with mine that i believe is dead pixels. My tv doesn\'t look damaged in the screen butt when the image darkens while watching tv u can see it. Its like a bleeding discoloration. Me personally im taking mine back to either get my money back or new tv. From ur breaf description sounds like u have the same issue except yours came that way.if u look at my follows on here u will see pictures of my tv and the issue to my screen. I bought mine from best buy. So i got a thirty day store return warranty plus i purchased a 2 year warranty. So im going back and going to see what they are going to say. I advise u to probably do the same especially if u got warranty.
As far as changing ur setting for HD picture quality with ur dish is to go through your menu options on the dish.i use comcast so mine is different butt im sure in a way the maybe might b in somewhat similar. With comcast theres a format button on the front of my box that i can press to change different format quality. If that dont give u what your looking for then see if you turn off your box while tv is on and then press menu on box and see if a user menu pops up if so then u should be able to change quality. You then can program it to be 1080 if ur using hdmi or components. One thing with comcast box is that i can make every channel 1080 bt the regular channels that dont broadcast that quality makes the picture smaller. So then u have to have HD channels to get 19080 quality. Butt u can get a good quality setting still with regular broadcast channels by overriding to 480p or to the best quality its puts out to that channel. Most broadcast channels set out a 480i or a a better HD 480p. Other than that you have to have HD channels and then ur box should automatically format to 1080u quality on the HD dish channels so you dont have to keep changing. Then when change ur channel back to standard broadcast channel it will automatically format to back to 480peither and so one as you change channels. Well hope it all helps and you got what you were looking for.

Dear Sir:

Please change new batteries, and clean the contact of batteries.

2)next reset the remote control: go to the next web pages: www.fitness.manualsonline.com give your model and download for free.

3) You must reset your box tv satellite, and adjust according as the company as instructed. If you have any doubht call them for reset the box tv.

4) You must shure that you do not have any problem with your TV,because the amps for color can be faulty, and this another reason, and the TV remote control + box control TV.

I recently got this watch as a gift. I went to the store with the gift receipt to get watch sized. The jeweler removed a two links, and it fits perfectly. Last week i noticed that the watch fit a little...

The jeweler is responsible for anything he is selling, and has to make right. If he can not fix the problem, you have a right to a exchange. If he refuses to deal with this especially with warranty then it time to contact the manufacture at www.michaelkors.com for customer support and ask for technical assistance. They will not be happy if a representative for the company leaves a black mark against them. One further thing if you have a phone number listed in the watch manual this may speed things up, good luck.

HDTV no over the air signal.

No... Andraade11,

There is nothing exclusive of using a HDMI port...
you can have it all.

You are still able to switch right back to your old configuration...

I believe you merely need to step through your
"SOURCES"

Unless Dish us incredibly behind the curve
they used a HDMI to bring their signal to your set...

and add ($$$) a LOCAL "OPTION" into
their feed... but if you ALREADY had an antenna
hooked up... you should be able to switch right back to that source... or a VIDEO PLAYER obviously IF you have one)

and/or a SECURITY screen
(if you have a compatible camera or server)

Etc. etcetera...

My VCR not recording after the switch to digital tv signal

The answer to this question can get a little complicated. Lets tackle it in two parts. First the last part; the part about picking up channels as decimals. With analog TV transmission, it took the full television broadcast channel to transmit one standard definition TV program. The newer digital transmission system uses some advanced video compression and audio compression technology to reduce the data needed to transmit the pictures and sound which allows the same bandwidth to deliver either High Definition Television programming or MULTIPLE channels of Standard Definition programs. So in your example above, you use to watch one channel of programming on TV channel 4, but now the TV station can broadcast multiple channels of programming on channel 4, sot they delineate the programs with a decimal point. So 4.1 it the first program on TV channel 4, 4.2 it the second program on TV channel 4..... Well, I hope you get the idea.

Now for the hard part of your question. I believe that before the transition, even with your new digital TV, you were still enjoying the analog broadcasts from your stations. Your VCR picked them up and recorded them and your digital TV could tune them in and you watched as you had always done in the past. After the transition you noticed that your VCR could not record anymore and your digital TV had discovered the digital channels that replace the analog channels. To remedy this situation, your VCR will need the aid of a DTV converter box to tune channels, and you may have to reconfigure the way your TV and VCR are connected. The best resource that I can give your for the reconnecting is the website http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/converterbox_vcr.html. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} Scroll down to the Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 section about “Set-up #2: Watch One Channel while Recording a Different Channel”.

Hope this helps

Doesn't give me the option to change the channel when timer recording

If you are recording something on the VCR, it won't let you change the channel. If not, you need to make sure the RC is set to the vcr in question (mine has VCR1 and VCR2)

You can set it up the way I've done for years...put cable line into VCR first, the VCR to TV..you then can watch and record 2 separate channels.

Video mode

I went to add/delete channels in my menu on my symphonic and it let me scroll through the channels, make sure you have them all set to add (by pushing the volume buttons to make them light blue instead of purple)....after adding all of your channels (or just the one if you use dish) just power the tv off while on a channel and then power back on and you should have tv.
