SOURCE: Fret marker falling out of the fingerboard

For maintainabilty, often HIDE glue (animal) is used by Luthiers. This is a heated glue usually.

The guitar probablly has reasonable value, I would take it to a Luthier as it ought to be a quick fix and would preserve the value... You should be able to find one in a phone book under musical instrument repair.

Floyd rose pulled up in the back

needs to have the vibrato rebalanced- did you install heavier strings? Lots of youtube videos on this, or take it to a music store and have the tech sort it for you

I have the esp ltd f-200 with the floyde rose tremlo and i get nothing but static when i plug in changed the batterey for the emg 81's any idea's what this could be ?

First verify the amp AND the cable is good with another guitar. Assuming they are, I would suspect you have a broken wire in the electronics of the guitar. Some of the guitars have a circuit board and that might have gotten a crack. Please do verify your amp first and the cable as these are other common problems.

Floyd rose is causing a fret buzz

Raise the saddles on the FR to help take away the fret buzz. Check the neck for curve. If the neck has a VERY slight bow on the fretboard side the strings will be able to vibrate better without buzz. Also might want to step up to a heavier gauge string set if you play in lower tunings.

Schecter Hellraiser C-1 question

Hi,

Yes, you can install a Floyd Rose later, but it will cost you more to buy one later and install than if you were to purchase the Schecter with it already installed. A Floyd Rose bridge with trem can cost between $40.00 for a used one, to $80.00, or even higher, depending on the features you want. If you need it installed for you, you are looking at another $50.00 to $100.00 potentially.

If you are unable to purchase the one without the Floyd Rose bridge because the cost is a bit out of your reach, don't worry. Schecter C-1 guitars are well made and sound very nice, and you would still have a really nice guitar. I have owned two Schecters , and still kick myself for having sold them to "upgrade" to a Gibson Les Paul Standard. Just because it reads Gibson on the headstock, doesn't necessarily mean it's a better guitar. To prove that, check out reviews on Harmony Central sometime (www.harmony-central.com) and see how many people are displeased with their Gibsons, and how many are pleased with their Schecters.

But you don't have to worry about installation of a FL bridge later, as they fit exactly where the standard bridge and stop tailpiece are fitted.

I hope this helps.

Ibanez intonation problem

Hi there. Use guitar tuner. Pluck string in open position. Tune. Now pluck same string at 12th fret. If tuner says flat, adjust bridge for that string towards neck. Towards bridge if sharp. Repeat procedure until in tune at open and 12th fret. Go to next string and repeat procedure.
Thanks

What size strings? and how to adjust pickups and bridge adjustments. can i find an owners manual online?

String gauge is a personal preference. I'll ask you this: what is your playing style? I see your picture and its a Jackson DK2M. One thing to remember is that the Floyd Rose usually needs adjusted with a different string gauge. With a Floyd, I recommend replacing one string at a time unless you are cleaning the neck with steel wool. If you are taking all the strings off at once and changing them all at once and not one after another, put a towel under the back end of the Floyd Rose so it does not tilt back and mar the finish. Jackson usually installs 9's on their guitars, but this is too light in my opinion.

The pickups...there is a screw on each end of the pickup to adjust the pickups up and down. Raiseing them will get you more output but more noise and feedback. Lowering them will get you a more mellow sound. I keep mine no less than 3/16 to 1/8" from the strings.

Bridge adjustment...Floyd Rose trems are tricky little animals. They have small allen screws to raise the saddles up and down. Raise the bridge just enough to keep the strings from buzzing excessively and as long as they don't make a buzzing sound thru you amp, its nothing to worry about.

Send me a message if you have any more questions. With a Floyd Rose, it would not hurt to go consult your favorite guitar shop or a friend with a Floyd equipt guitar to see them work on them.
