My Skytex tablet version sp712 won't turn on. I've tried letting it charge and it will only give me a screen that says SKYPAD when it's plugged it. The second I unplug it, everything goes away.

The battery is no longer able to power up the tablet. It needs to be replaced.

Unplug all devices, USB sticks, SD cards, anything it has plugged in. Then plug the charger in. Do not turn it off unless it takes over 8 hours after you put it on the charger. If you do turn it off at any time, even after the 8 hour mark, I claim no responsibility for the consequences. However, I have powered off devices in this state many times, and nothing has gone wrong.

Seems like the battery is disconnected! That is why it turns off when mains power is removed!

My Pioneer R1 Tablet ALSO will not Charge only works when plugged in if i unplug it goes off! Charging stays at 0%.

Have a white screen on tablet can' turn off nor on pandigital

Very gently unplug the battery cable for two minutes.. I used a pair of tweezers and worked it out. Plugged it back in and it is fine. What a relief. I have read that if it goes to sleep while plugged in via usb, it freezes? Don't know. Just be careful when pulling the battery!

Was playing a game on tablet and screen went white and still white for the past 12 hr.

Very gently unplug the battery cable for two minutes. I used a pair of tweezers and worked it out. Plugged it back in and it is fine. What a relief. I have read that if it goes to sleep while plugged in via usb, it freezes? Don't know. Just be careful when pulling the battery!

You Power Cord must be bad. If you cannot get on the laptop by using just the power cord, then the power cord is bad and needs to be replaced. Also it sounds like you've been operating off your battery since the power cord is bad, but now the battery is dead because the bad power cord was not charging it.

Get a new AC Adapter and Power Cord. Or it could be that the pin where you plug the power cord into the table is damaged or broken.

I have IBM thinkpad x41 , when i'm working on it , the screen suddenly goes black , eventhough the thinkpad is still running , and i cant get it bak unless i make it sleep , and then relogin

maby it is the shut switch try to tap on the switch to see if the works but it might not be that

No battery or battery is bad. Check that the battery is even plugged in to the socket.

Makes no diff. ou could have bughtit an hour ago, a battery is a batery, good bad, it's still a batter. If it's plugged into the socket and charging when you plug the cord to the wall, it will charge the battery. If the batery is not accepting the charge and the unigoes off when you unplug from the wall, the battery OR charger is BAD.

Depending on how old it is and how often you use it,might need a new battery. They stop taking a charge after awhile .
