I took my dryer apart and found a staple on cushion of barrel. I did not remover circuit board and may have damaged something. When torn dryer on the timmer light shimmers and will only dry for 30 min max. After first go round when you punch start again it goes foe apps 10 min.
Sounds like u may have a motor winding going bad will usually run 20-30 minutes then shut off and if u run agin right away it will run 10-15 minutes and shut off agin. run an hour later and u will get 30 minutes or so agin? or u may have bad venting causing an over heating prob

Agreed --- the motor is overheating.But the question is --why? If the motor is old 8-10 years, then that is expected.
