My washer runs just fine: fills, agitates all the way till the water is supposed to pump out to get rinsed. Then the washer just stops. Can you tell me what is wrong

probably you've got something blocking the water pump from doing its job properly so check that the water pump is free running emptying all the water if not then there is a blockage in the pump normally ist a button, paper clip or other debris out of a trouser pocket eric
The contacts for the outlet pump have fused together in the programmer so that as soon as you apply power the pump motor starts running.
Remove the power first
Quick check is to take off the back panel locate the pump and remove one of the supply leads
put some insulating tape around the end of the lead you have taken off in case it shorts out then put the power back on and try the machine, it should then fill and start to agitate .
If that works then you need a new programmer .
Turn off the power , replace the lead and then put the machine back on to drain out the water
most new washers have cold water only rinse and spray rinse ck cold water coming into machine during wash if no cold comes in suspect cold side of fill vale not opening ..could be wiring issue or a bad valve
well that's a tough one need to ask a few questions first whats the brand and model number second does it fill in the rinse cycle ok.If it fills in rinse try selecting wash with cold wash/ cold rinse selected and let me know how that works please hold my rating till we are finished
the 1st rinse light is normally set to "spray rinse", this means the machine will pump out the water, spin at medium speed then pulse cold water into the machine, this occurs for about 2 mins, then the machine will spin out, and advance for the final rinse which is a deep rinse.
