Question about Samsung Tocco F480 - Pay Monthly Cellular Phone

Can't turn the keypad tone off when i text - samsung tocco f480

Whenever i text this annoying tone comes on so anyone around me gets annoyed because there's this annoying bleeping sound. I managed to find settings for the keypad tone but it only gives the option for xylophone or beep.

You've probably found out by now, but I've been tearing my hair out to solve this and have finally done so today. Menu -> Settings -> Phone profiles. Then select the righthand double arrow icon for the profile you want to change (likely 'Normal' at the top). From the pulldown list at the top right, change 'Incoming...' for 'Phone sounds'. Scroll down to the bottom of the resulting screen (using the lefthand handset buttons if, like me, you have trouble scrolling) and set the 'Phone sound volume' (slider control) to '0'. Then hit 'Save at the bottom, and job done!!! Phew!!!!

Turn off the keypad tone using the button on the side of the phone.

volume.

Check if you have any call diverts activated
If you have call divert option when you are busy you will get this msg

How do i turn the keypad sound of on samsung tocco
Go to settings,
select phone settings,
volume key function,
select silence
then save

Now you can turn the volume of your keys up and down with the button on the side of your phone

Samsung Tocco Lite - Unable to create default folder
Instead of using 'PC studio' option while connecting, use 'media player' option for transferring the files. Check this option. If this does not work, try creating the default directory yourself manually using the phone and then try transferring the files.

My sasung Tocco F480 just switches itself off!
I'd suggest to factory reset it. But, be aware that you'll lose all your settings/info so do a backup first.

Can't turn the texting key sounds off!!
Okay go into your menu and go to your Fourth option which is a little silver wheel which has the options call date&time all that.Go to sound which is your third option. It will have an option that says volume. Go into that and it will say keypad you can shut the noise off that way hope it helped if you need more clarification let me know.

Change text message tone on tocco lite
I have F480 touchwiz (right now my screen has stopped working) but if I remember correctly, I go to settings - profiles, choose a profile to change, and the tabs on the top of the screen allow you to change ring tone, sms/txt tone and email tone. Hope this helps

You can turn the volume down or off completely. Use the up/down volume control button at the side of the phone when you are on the home page.

Annoying beeping with every letter on a text message
You should be able to turn the keypad tones off:

Go to:

Menu;

Settings;

Phone Settings;

Phone Profiles;

'Normal' [providing your phone profile is set to 'normal'];

Now, scroll two places to the right until you are in the 'Phone sounds' tab. Select 'Keypad Tone' and turn it 'off'.

Hope that solves it!
