I just want to know the remote codes of vt2430

Go to settings and check for any lock options or parental control options and unlock it. if failed to find it reset it .

First check the power outlet, try connecting the TV to a different power outlet. Check for any jammed buttons on the remote. If it does not work still, this might need attention by a qualified service technician.

Some broadcasts are telivised at different outputs eg 4.1 16.1, are you getting the same picture on every channel?, do you have a button on your remote to change the input eg wide screen?. Hope this helps. Nefal

Do you mean the VT2430? Viewsonic doesn't list a VY2430.

For my Viewsonic TV, first make sure that your input is TV. (Press the Input button on the remote (upper left) or the TV (furthest right). Use the arrow keys or multiple presses of Input to change the current input.) Next press Menu. Use the up/down arrows to navigate to the TV menu (the icon looks like a TV). Press Enter. Set the type of incoming TV signal (Cable or Air or let the tv figure it out with Auto). Then go down to the line labeled AutoScan and press Enter. You may be prompted to begin the scan or to select the type of channels to scan. Press Enter again after making the selection.

I have the same problem it just started happening today and I have yet to find a solution so please post anything you find out thanks!

What you can try is replace low or dead batteries, if that doesn't solve the problem remove the batteries from the remote and unplug the t.v. Then press the the power button for 2 minutes on the t.v itself, this is what is known as a hard re-set. It will attempt to bring the device back to default values. On the remote itself do the same thing, with batteries out press the power on button for the same time period, this will drain the capacitors of extra power in them. Re-install the batteries and then plug back your set. When you turn the set back on do not do it from the remote, but from the set itself. See what effect that has, and if the screen comes back try with your remote.
