Time master tc100 wont stop punching by itself-how to fix it?

Is it printing automatically when you insert a time card or printing without a card inserted (randomly)?

The Time Master TC100 can print both manually via the print button and automatically, depending on your print method settings. If the print method is the problem, follow these steps:
  1. Press the Mode button until P5 (Program Mode 5 for Print Format) is displayed.
  2. Press Settings to choose the print method. 1 = Automatic (default setting) - The TC100 automatically prints when the time card is inserted; 2 = Manual - After inserting the time card, press the Print Button to activate printing.
  3. Press Select to confirm the Print Method chosen.
  4. Press Mode to return to normal operation mode.

To see the full instruction manual you can visit http://www.royalsupplies.com/clocks/Instruction%20Manual%20TC100%20English%20GOLD-2005.pdf
If the issue is that the time clock is randomly printing times, I would suggest either checking the mechanism that senses a card for issues or calling Royal.

My HP M2727 nf always prints a second page, GET /DevMgmt/DiscoveryTree.xml.... How do we remove this and stop wastinig all the paper?

If you send a print job such as word sometimes you actually have a second page but it will be blank. look at your document to see if there is a page 2.
Also under the settings of the printer you will find where it says copies, that needs to be set to one(1). If this is a network printer simply type in the address of the printer in the address bar of Internet Explorer and the printer will appear with all the settings and paper trays etc. If it has a screen on the printer go to configuration and look in there for "copies" then change it to "1"

The pop up "Print Filter pipeline Host stopped working and was closed" stops me printing when I want to print photos from a picture file? The printer is a Brother MFC 680CN

Try the following:

1. First, try printing a different PDF file - if it works proceed to number 2 below.

2. Now, rename the resume file and then open and print the file - see if it now prints.

3. If the above does not work, perform the procedure at the link below.

Brother HL 2140 printer very slow printing.

It sounds like you haven't completely removed the old print driver. To do so, you must take the following steps:

  1. Open Printers by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png, clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Printers.
  2. Right-click the printer that you want to remove, and then click Delete.
If you can't delete the printer, right-click it again, click Run as administrator, and then click Delete. 18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b.png If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Another way or removing the printer driver is this:

1. Delete the printer from control panel -> printers
2. Open Services.msc and stop and start the Print Spooler service
3. Open Print Management(Open command prompt, type in printmanagement.msc or type print management in to the start menu search box)
4. In Custom Filters -> All Drivers right click the printer driver you want to remove and select Remove Driver Package
5. Install new printer driver.

Now that you've removed the printer driver, you can go ahead and manually install the new printer driver.

To manually install you must follow the prompts carefully.
Follow the instructions in this link:
http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-install-local-printer

At the install the printer driver section, choose have disk and locate the printer driver that you want to be associated with this printer you are installing.

This should solve your problem.

My Acer Aspire 5100 will not stop shuting down and restarting. It is trying to configure 3 of 3 updates. I tried the going through the F8 button and going through the last configuration section. That did...

Hi sboon4...did I lose you on chat? I have a couple more things to try....

hello?
inthecellar says:
I'm not sure if you're still connected but I have a couple more things to try here...so I'll type it out.

inthecellar says:
If you can get back to a command prompt again, you can try the following:

inthecellar says:
C:\windows\winsxs\pending.xml C:\windows\winsxs\pending.old.xml
C:\windows\winsxs\cleanup.xml -> C:\windows\winsxs\cleanup.old.xml

inthecellar says:
You want to rename the pending.xml to old and cleanup.xml to old.

inthecellar says:
if that doesn't work then try going into the bios of the Acer to choose recovery (which may erase all data) by hitting Alt-F10 while it boots up.

inthecellar says:
my email is [email protected] if you need more assistance...I'll keep it connected.
