I have a Black and Decker 7.2 V cordless drill #9909KC which I have lost the charger for. I have a 7.2 V charger for another application but do not know what the polarity is (+ or -) on the drill where the charger plugs in. Can you help me determine the correct polarity? Thanks, Ed

Center pin is generally positive - outer ring is negative. But you can use a 9v charger just as easily; in fact, the one supplied with the cordless drill is a 9.0v, 200mA output charger.

Will the same apply for a 7.2V and a 12V drills. Both are Black and Decker.

My Black and Decker Drill and Hand Saw have brand new battery pack and brand new charger to BE SURE battery is fully charged but still don't work

it is probably the brushes on the motors are wore out or stuck and not making contact. pretty much junk unless you feel confident enough to attempt repair.

I just wonder i can still get battery charger for black decker cordless drill mode is ps3600 because my old one is not working i need new one

Menards or Home Depot sell chargers for cordless power tools. Pricey, but obviously needed. The Black & Decker model battery you own should fit the newest chargers no problem.

Lost 18V AC adaptor- can I use one made for laptop with 18V output?

I don't know if I would try this or not. there could be a difference in the amps and usually a charger is designed to shut off or go to trickle when the battery is fully charged.

Charger not charging have 2 new chargers neither 1 will work for black& decker 18 volt cordless

You should probably contact Customer Service regarding this. I'd say it's a problem with the batteries rather than the chargers considering this looks like a recent EPC model - 1800 444 224
