I tried the volume and power key to access recovery menu on my tablet and it wont work. i boots all normal to the home screen but i cant slide the lock to unlock as it seems the touchscreen is froze.

This is a generic factory reset for most tablets:

1. Power off your Tablet.
2. Press and hold Volume up and Power button at the same time until you boot into the Android system recovery. ...
3. Choose Wipe data/Factory Reset with your volume keys and then press the power button to confirm.
