My tv light keeps blinking and the input selection keep changing

Select another input. On my television that is done by remote or button on the set. Now yours is currently on the camera input. Select HDMI or Scart. Any of those until you find the one you use for your box.

not enough info , if your trying to change the tv input , make sure you select tv on the universal remote first , you either need to keep pushing input til it moves down to your desired input , or use the arrow key to move it down to the input. some require you to hit enter or ok to select , others just wait a second , it should change. if your getting the options menu when your hitting input , then the remote is not compatible with your TV / VHS / DVD...
If you get the input to change and your successful , make sure you hit VHS in order to call a command , if its still in tv mode , your only going backwards , make sure whatever your trying to control , the remote is selected to that device ... Good Luck ..

Make sure your cable input is in properly. The TV might be going into a sleep mode if it not getting an input signal

what has happened is there is a controller for menus and the selection of channel's av hdmi etcafter a hwile with some tvs they start to go on the blink it coud be worse i have had people with tvs that wont change channel keep jumping back and people without a signal atall the only thing you can do if it is unbearable is get the unit replaced or with some tvs a simple firmware update does the job as it resets everything but with most tvs the unit will need replaced it will cost no more than 100 dollars at a good tv repair store

Count the blinks between the pause, Let me know or call a sony service center if your a novice at tv repair

You should have an Input selection on your remote, keep pressing it until HDMI is high-lighted and that should be it. The other method is going into the menu under input and select HDMI. Let me know?

the tv will try to reboot a few times. just let i try and eventually it will start blinking red. if you could count the red blinks then i can further assist you.
