Stuck on standby

In settings you must to turn off the " blue screen"

Try using the channel button which also wakes from standby.

I'm currently searching for an old mate cause his tv won't wake from standby with the power button but will with the channel button. Odd because the power button will turn it off no problem.

Inverters use square wave voltage, which tends to stifle digital circuits. Leaving something stuck, or not working. Sure, the inverter will work for awhile, but then the rigid square wave eventually causes problems.

See if you can perform a hard reset of the electronics to factory default.

Normally Grundig tv sets when stop working the standby light is on. If it is so the power supply is faulty. You should check DC supply voltage in pin 6 of SMPS IC TDA4605.. If no voltage in this pin, check the limiting resistor connected in series. If these parts are OK, check the supply line rectifier diode for short.

It sounds that the LOT [Line Output Transistor or Line output transformere] to your TV is faulty.

The set is expecting a pin number to be inserted.

If you dont know or cant remember pin do this.

USE REMOTE CONTROL AND BRING T.V OUT OF STANDBY,

SCREEN REQUESTS PIN CODE,

PRESS STANDBY, PRESS NO. 7 BUTTON FOR 6 SECONDS, THEN IMMEDIATELY PRESS STANDBY (THERE MUST BE NO DELAY BETWEEN LAST ACTIONS).

Do this to the letter it should sort out your problem.

The Television may be faulty, but without reading the manual I can't say for sure. If you want to risk spend some money to find out, here is a link to a website selling the remote control you require for the GF70-600 TV. I've not had any dealings with the company but you could always contact them to check your buying an original (OEM*) Grundig remote before you buy one.

*OEM means, Original Equipment Manufacturer.
