Bad flyback transformer, freewheel diode, snubber capacitor, horizontal output transistor. If you replace one, replace them all. Also could be problems in the secondary power supply, these units use the flyback transformer to feed the audio and vertical sections.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. SOURCE: I haveSansui 1403ctv the tv set is dead.no output from smps.When I switch on the tv immediatly switching transister(c1802) will be short.

Check the freewheeling capacitor connected to the collector of this switching output transistor for open. Check the serial resistor too.

Possible a Dry joint- have you tried hitting the TV-

Does it come on intermitently?

If not it could be a problem with the FBT.

This will be an obsolete part if so.

Ur high voltage is dead.FBT,the flyback tranformer the big black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap that hook to the CRT(tv tube).That it dead.The "H" transistor beside the FBT steel wall on the left outer wall might also be dead.U can tries unpluging,replung it an hour later might get some use of.To solved these problems must replaced the FBT,and "H" transistor.If u have this tv along time?Get rid of it,not worth repairing,parts are hard to find, and repair shop will charge alot for this prob.LCD tvs it cheap these day.

I have 37MF321 we replaced the capcitors and everything. However when we put the power into it. We have a Chirping Noise.
Ur high voltage it dead.The FBT is dead,it the Flyback Transformer.The big black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap plug to ur CRT(Tv tube).The "H" Transistor might be dead also.The "H" transistor is to left side steel side wall cage that surounded the FBT.
