Blood put on to test strip too soon, you need to wait a short while after fitting strip before putting blood on for testing. Not sure of exact time but the machines display should change. Hope this helps
Hi. Mine cost around 20 dollars, and the more expensive ones can be 70 dollars. You could also try one of the companies that gives the meter away for free (Don't think they're just being generous. They make their money from selling the glucose strips you need for the meter.)
