Ive tried to use the valet switch, but that has not worked. What else can I try to get my truck to crank?

if you need a remote you can buy one from audiovox.com and also you can download the installation manual and user manual in which that will tell you how to program the new remote for the remote start.
SOURCE: Reconnect remote starter
Those devices, when operating properly, are commonly not disconnected, but you could attempt to find the power lead and the in-line fuse to make those re-connections, also check the battery(s) in the remote. If the disconnection is more in-depth then you should acquire the installation and owners manual from Audiovox, so as to troubleshoot and maybe discover what else is disconnected.
Good luck...

The starter fails to disengage? Do you mean that the starter engages but the vehicle does not start? If so, there could be an issue with the immobilizer bypass. The vehicle is not seeing the transponder from the key/bypass, thereby not engaging the fuel pump. One way to confirm this is to put the key in the ignition and then remote start the car. If the vehicle starts, then you have successfully diagnosed the problem.
Or, do you mean that the vehicle starts and shuts down after 5 seconds. If so, the tachometer wire may have been disconnected during the repair service. The tach wire is green with an orange stripe and it may still be hanging (unattached) in the engine compartment. Try tracing any wiring harness coming through the firewall into the engine compartment on the driver's side that has an "aftermarket appearance", meaning that it may appear out of place in association with the factory wiring harnesses. Make sure that all the wiring is connected. The tach wire is black at the diagnostic connector on the drivers side of the motor or, you can use the uncommon wire at the coil.
