What I would do, is search e-bay or amazon and net would be a junky one off on craigslist and steal the part out of it.

Testimonial: "Thanks, I found a quick fix: I used a small elastic and it works."

I want a Old (Original) Xbox - Live Account

Im sorry to say that they don't have any old Xbox live accounts. They have all been discontinued and they do not run it anymore. They only do Xbox 360 live. I know how hard it is to get broadband and immediately go for the old fashion halo games and find out you can't anymore.

Slp111 cd door sticking

Hello
You are talking about loading motor and its connecting belt. Check whether the loding motor has pulling power to eject the disc tray out. This is a common complaint with most models of CD players. Just replace the loading motor and loading belt.

GoVideo DVD/VCR combo has a disc in it, and it plays, but I cannot ejecti it. I tried turn off machine and restart it but it still doesn't eject. It keeps reading the disc and plays the program.

there is a belt which is driven by a motor to open or close the tray. u place the disc on the try and the try loads the dvd/cd into the mechanism. the belt is loose & needs replacement. you have to open the cover & find the belt on the mechanism & replace with slightly shorter length of belt.

Open & close disc doesn't work. It is open not but I can't close it. Looks like both open and close don't work.

Hello
There are three possibilities for this trouble with this DVD player. The first one is imprper loading function due to loading motor or loading belt trouble. If loading motor is weak [that is its pulling power has gone low] the tray will not close properly into the mechanism, and will not touch the load sensor switch fitted inside the mechanism. If this happens, the main system control IC will detect improper loading and will turn the tray out again to load it properly. Just try to close it without a disc inside the tray, and check whether it closes well. If it does so, or the trouble repeats, change the loading belt first. In most cases, this will retify this type of trouble.
The second one is, bad 'Sled' motor. sled motor is one, which spins the disc inside the mechanism. After proper loading, if the disc do not spin inside it, again the system control IC will sense it, and will eject the tray. The sled motor also is a replacable part.
The third one is, damaged gear wheel in the loading gear section. to detect and repair any of above trouble, you have to open your DVD player, and take the DVD mechanism out of it, and is somewhat semi-skilled work indeed. Check these first. If you want anymore assistance from me, feel free to get be by fixya. If you are somewhat skilled, and have confidence and can follow the diagrams, send your email address to me by FixYa. I'll send the service manual of your DVD player by return mail. All details and disassemblng procedure are in it. OK

My 02' mdx won't come out of park, keep blowing a 20 amp fuse. This fuse controls the Cruise, break lights, memory seat, horn and linkage. I have to manually delink. I have unhooked the comand...

Here is an idea, when do you blow the fuse key on, key on engine running, key on engine running hitting the break pedal? Try and get the key on without blowing fuse if possible, then one at a time try those circuit loads ie: horn, brake pedal and so on, if you isolate which load is pulling to many amps(blowing fuse) unplug that load itself, then restart testing, see if fuse stays ok. You can also substitue the fuse with a circuit breaker and unplug each load until click(of breaker) stops.

I need to find a replacemnt O-ring / drive belt for the motor which (i forget) either spins the disk or is the drive activator for the tray mechinism. it's about the size of a quarter to half-dollar and...

The disc tray loading belt - this part should be available from Panasonic directly; just quote your DVD recorder's model number, and order the belt if you can fit it yourself. Shouldn't cost too much for a loading belt, and, as I said, if you can fit it yourself, you save on expensive workshop repair costs.

In USA, you can contact Panasonic support by phone:

Product Support and
Technical Assistance 1-800-211-PANA (7262)
quote your model number, and ask about a tray loading belt for your (or similar) model. Forget their parts and accessories site - it offers zero help. There may be a generic belt kit (including a similar sized belt for your tray) to suit your model from places such as Radio Shack which could be closer to home.

Just one idea, or you can have a look at this:

http://www.kenselectronics.com/lists/belts.htm

I don't know how much use that will be to you, but worth a look. (you may need to remove your old belt and measure its circumference for an approximate generic replacement size)
