I searched the Facebook home page and my page for links and found none, so I did a general Google search and found this sight.

Firstly, my condolences, and hope this will help.
You will need to write to facebook, and ask them to close your late husbands account.. you will need to provide proof, usually a copy of the deceased certificate, and also proof of your authority to do this, marriage certificate, power of attorney etc.
Without the relevant proof, they will be unable to do this.

Have you ever logged in correctly?

If so, try deleting the browser cache. In Internet Explorer go to tools, internet options, and click on "delete" in history. In firefox press [shift]+[ctrl]+[del].

SOURCE: I can't get my facebook account for my business to show up

Hi,

It can take some time for a Facebook Page to be added to Google's Search Index, but if it has been a while, that's probably not it.

Check your Facebook Profile Privacy Settings (Top right of screen: Account>Privacy Settings). Then choose Search and make sure the bottom check box is checked. For maximum exposure, make the first option "everyone" to appear on Facebook's Search Results.

Hope this helps...

My husband and I use the same computer. He has a facebook account and uses a seperate e mail address than I do. I've tried to access the facebook home page in an attempt to open a page in my name and each...

Easiest way is to add yourself as a user to the computer (Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Create a new account), then your software settings are retained in their own location on the computer as long as you select to log on as you and not your husband.
