Making a Canon Imagerunner 400S a network printer

How can I connect a Canon Imagerunner 400S to a network? It used to be connected to the network but we moved the copier and didn't use it for awhile but now want to reconnect it to the network.

Connect network cable from the machine to the switch or router, and give ur machine ip address compitable with ur network, then load the driver on ur computer and u will be fine.

110volts-50/60 hertz

220volts/240volts 50 Hertz

if you have 110v machine and you want to connect it 220v supply you can use a 1.5kw stepdown transformer

Scanning with imagerunner 400s

there is a hardware upgrade that has to be made first. I highly doubt if it is still available. You might find someone witha used one. They were not very popular. The scanner option used a SCSI (pronounced "scuzzy") interface which requires a seperate connection to a nearby computer with a SCSI interface board.

I would suggest reloading the driver ets. I hope this link helps. Otherwise the problem you are experiencing seems like a function {or malfunction} of your network. After 20 years of doing this stuff, I reflect on how your dillema and cannot imagine any "hardware " driven problem. So I agree with you that either need an update or to reinstall the driver. Take care and good life! :-)
