Normally all Dabs will have the facility to connect with TVs. Your Bravia will have a line in connection at its back or side panel. Check for it. You can connect this connection to the Line out of the audio device you want to connect; using an AV cable; and select the input to TV to Av, using the remote control. Seek assistance of any service technician; if you feel any difficulty.

How do I connect to my Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100 TV using HDMI?
First you must be sure you have HDMI service from your service provider. When you do have HDMI service you must have HDMI cables for connection. The ends are a flat fitting nothing like the standard round cable fittings. They can be purchased at any retailer that handles electronics. They are quiet pricy as compaired to standard cable connections.

Screw size for attaching stand for Sony Bravia LCD TV model# 46W4500
while the owner manual does not specify the length etc of bolts it does show there are 4 of them---look like find thread machine bolt---may be able to buy a few at the hardware sore or Home Depot---if the threads are inside the base take it with you as a guide.

To properly drive your TV set, your computer will have to be able to supply 1366 x 768 with a 60 Hz refresh rate.

A resolution of 1280 X 800 is high. LCD and Plasma sets are very critical for the maximum resolution. You can go lower but not higher. If a lower than native resolution is used there may be some aspect ratio distortion, and the picture quality will be degraded.

Sony Bravia KDL-40W4500 turns off
This can indicate a problem with the high voltage circuits. Since this is a new set, it should still be under warranty. DO NOT open up the unit as that will void the warranty. Return the set or request warranty service. Note the 8 blinks when you request service as that should allow them to bring the correct replacement parts.

Sony Bravia with Phillps dvd player
The DVD player may have multiple output formats that can be displayed. Sounds like you have the composite output selected when you have the component output selected on the DVD player. Check the menu options on the DVD player and confirm they match the way you have the player connected
