It was working just fine until this morning when I went to print a document. As it powered on it stated making a groaning and clicking noise in the lower right side of the machine. The green light is solid and the orange/red light is blinking. The LCD display says PAPER LOADING/READY---LT PLAIN.
You have to select the correct type of paper, A4, or in this case the machine is set on letter-plain.
Open paper tray, locate the feed roller (small rubbery wheel) and moisten a cloth. Gently clean the roller to remove build up of paper dust from it.
Also worth using is some "anti static foam cleanser" on the cloth to help deep clean the rollers, or the pre-moistened "Screen wipes"
Also check there is nothing blocking hte paper path, remove paper cassette, and toner catridge (and drum if I recall correctly) and see if you can feed a sheet of paper MANUALLY from tray up into the "imaging chamber" where the toner lives. If this feels too stiff, there could be an obstruction in the way, fragment of paper scrunched up after a REAL jam, or fault sensor arm.
If you find something and can remove it, reassemble, and test
Testimonial: "Okay, I did all of that and now when I try to print it says "load cassette letter". When not printing it says "add paper cass". Also, when I wedged the paper tray up it was able to grab a hold of the paper and run a print."
