Kyocera not feeding paper.

It was working just fine until this morning when I went to print a document. As it powered on it stated making a groaning and clicking noise in the lower right side of the machine. The green light is solid and the orange/red light is blinking. The LCD display says PAPER LOADING/READY---LT PLAIN.

You have to select the correct type of paper, A4, or in this case the machine is set on letter-plain.

Open paper tray, locate the feed roller (small rubbery wheel) and moisten a cloth. Gently clean the roller to remove build up of paper dust from it.

Also worth using is some "anti static foam cleanser" on the cloth to help deep clean the rollers, or the pre-moistened "Screen wipes"

Also check there is nothing blocking hte paper path, remove paper cassette, and toner catridge (and drum if I recall correctly) and see if you can feed a sheet of paper MANUALLY from tray up into the "imaging chamber" where the toner lives. If this feels too stiff, there could be an obstruction in the way, fragment of paper scrunched up after a REAL jam, or fault sensor arm.

If you find something and can remove it, reassemble, and test

Testimonial: "Okay, I did all of that and now when I try to print it says "load cassette letter". When not printing it says "add paper cass". Also, when I wedged the paper tray up it was able to grab a hold of the paper and run a print."

My EPSON Stylus Photo 1400 Ink Jet Printer is printing blank photos. The ink levels are fine, it's feeding photo paper fine, it's making the same noise as it does when it prints but the photos are...

Hi,

Your problems states that photos are being blank when trying to print it.
Please try these tips.

  • Make sure your printer is selected in the Print window or in the Macintosh Page Setup and Print windows.
  • The print head nozzles may need cleaning.
  • Make sure your printer software settings are set for the paper size you're using.

Plus,i also wanted to know if you can print ordinary documents or print a test page.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center.

Mp600 pixma printer

I'm not sure if you've already checked this, but this was my issue. I, too, would try to print something and it would make a great deal of clunking noise but would then say that there was no paper and told me to load some. I went to the Canon site and before I actually went through the process of cleaning the print roller, I checked the feed switch button on the display panel. It's right below the ON/OFF button and, what do you know, it was set to feed from a paper cassette instead of the back loading tray. I pushed the button and it's now printing fine. I'm sure we must have accidentally hit the button when we were trying to turn the printer on or off quickly. Hope this does the trick! It's always nice when it's something easily fixed!

Kyocera Mita FS9500DN print shifting

The FS9500 does shift margins unfortunately. I curently maintain 12 of them in the market. You need to ensure that the paper is 100% fitted to size in the trays. Also make sure that ALL the feed rollers are cleaned on a regular basis. If you pull out the trays you will see the feed assembly on the LHS of the printer. One screw holds it in. Undo the screw and pull out the assembly. Now you can clean the rollers much better. Make sure the bushes are well lubricated on the duplex unit as well. There are alot of axles in this printer and they all affect the printing margins when sluggish. This is 100% hardware problem. Not HDD. Let me know if you succeed. Udo

Not printing

There is probably a paper jam in the tray feed path. The other situation is that the tray paper pick up roller has become hardened/polished, or the paper tray paper is greasy. First step, take the paper from the tray, and fan it out, so each sheet is separated from the next. try it with jut a dozen or so sheets, change the paper.

Thoroughly check the paper feed path.

If not working, then check/clean the rollers.

Brother MFC-8460N ... No Paper response

I had the same problem with a customer, to resolve this issue:

> Go to the printers folder
> Right click on the printer
> Go to printing preferences
> Under the paper source settings change it from autoselect to Tray1 and save the settings.

This will force the printer to print to tray1.

That fixed it for me, hope it works for you too.
