To avoid transmission wear,it's best to tow it on a flat bed tow truck.

Why fuse goes out when flat towing Fiat 500 on Chateau 25V

25v is model # of motor RV coach. not volts.
well the fuse is wrong size
or there is a short in the end to end of the feed line
not told what fuse blew.

top cause wired wrong at hitch
cars cam have upto 12 park lamps but not Fiat500, less

parks (tails)blinkers.or reverse or brake feed.the fuse is marked as to its use.

most wise makers of hitch kits
have a buffer box for the towed (trailer car)
that has its own fuses, so fuses in the RV never blow.
buy this kit and install it. if not there already.
or get an RV center in the loop.

Can you flat tow a 2007 Lincoln MKX?

The 2007 Lincoln MKX is definitely towable "4 down". According to the owners manual: The ignition switch needs to be in the accessory position (position 2 of the 4 possible positions) so that the steering wheel is able to turn to let the front wheels track the towing vehicle. The transmission needs to be in "N" so that the engine's disconnected. The parking brake needs to be off, and the engine should be run for 5 minutes before starting out and "at fuel stops". This makes the vehicle a good vehicle to tow along with you behind your motorhome. The folks at Blue Ox make an excellent tow "baseplate" that is practically invisible yet hooks up easily to the motorhome. The BX2192 package is made specifically for the '07 to '10 MKX. It works beautifully with my '07!
