I also have this problem. I rang Carl Lewis Support and they said to check the connections on the circuit board (Located in the floor panel next to the motor). If the treadmill had recently been moved something may have been dislodged. I checked mine and found a few loose wires and plugged them fully back in but this didn't help my treadmill. I'm awaiting a response from an e-mail i sent them now.
On mine it was the micro switch that senses the rotation speed. The switch is static and placed my a moving magnet usually inset into the drive pulley. The wiring from the sensor could also be faulty.

You will have to call or e mail where the unit was purchased, if the support bars are not welded to the frame they can be replaced along with a new running belt and deck if not cost prohibitive. If support bars are welded either have new support beams welded in and replace the belt and deck again if not cost prohibitive. And I don't know if the parts and frame are still under warranty.
