Put 12 volts to the coil and see if it pulls in. Could be coil, idle module, ignition switch, or wiring. Get a 12v test light and trace it.

Hi pplmelita,

If you don't have a petcock to turn the fuel off below the tank, I would disconnect the line at the filter and drain the gas out that way.
If you're wanting completely drain all old gas out, drain as above and then run until dry.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

The shaft is tapered and will have a bolt in the center, loosen the bolt enough so you can tap on the end of the bolt. This should release the shaft, if not there should be 2 hole that you can thread a bolt into to push the connection apart.

SOURCE: Why is my bobcat 225 not welding hot enough?

If all your settings are correct and still not hot enough probably your fuse F1 is open and need to replace. Check page 42 of the owner's manual for instructions.http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o4434q_mil.pdf

Hope this fix your problem.

Possibly the idler control circuit board. I changed out my fair share back when I worked on them. Also, check your idler solenoid. I can't remember if those pulled in to idle, or pulled in for high RPM's. May be something as simple as rust on the solenoid plunger.

I have a miller bobcat 225 is lower power while welding, any idea?

First off, check all of your welding cables to make sure they're in good shape, then check for tight cable connections. Is your machine staying at low idle speed while trying to weld? If so, Switch the idle select into the 'weld' position and make sure the high RPM's initiate. Try welding again. Better? Could be a number of things, if not.

My bobcat 225g runs full bore all the time, I thought it would idle then when you strike an arc it would pick up speed,

A welder does not speed up when an arc is struck. It is normal for a gas welder to stay at a high rpm. If it did not, it would be very hard on the machine as a high amperage is needed to start an arc for welding, and to be consistant. Unlike a generator which will "idle down" when not in use.

I have just purchased an T10604R to operate my two speed pool pump and wired it just as the instructions said, but when I operate the T106 timer which controls the high/low to the pump and switch it to...

Hi,
Yes I would say you are correct...the switch may not be rated for the amperage of the pump and caused the 1-2 contacts to weld together...
before replacing the timer with a like model be sure to check the amperage of the pump and the rating of the switch to make sure your not running too much current through that switch.

Idols high when comming to a stop wont idol down

Sounds like you have either a carb with a sticky slide. Pull air box and look down carb throats while twisting throttle (assuming the bike is not EFI)

High idol all the time& tranny problems

Check for vacuum leaks on the high idol. You have a speed sensor or wiring issue with the tranny. Will need to be checked somewhere with a computer to know for sure on the tranny.

Snap On Ya219B No Spark

The transformer has an overtempature switch the shuts the welder down when its duty cycle is exceeded. After it cools, the switch will close and the welder will run again. However, you are not supposed to use the welder until waiting an additional cooling off period as specified in you manual(~10 min.).Also you are not suppose to weld beyond the duty cycle or damage could result. Especially if done on a continuous basis.
